Uberhealer

It is now officially 2008, and with the new year a new World of Warcraft fansite is born! I present Uberhealer: An online community for Healers in the World of Warcraft.

Uberhealer is born out of the frustration of not having a unified resource for healers to come and seriously discuss the mechanics of healing. Sure, we have the official forums, but if you’ve read them for any length of time you know how useless they can be considering how overrun they are with trolls, complainers, and people who refuse to type in complete sentences.

I started playing World of Warcraft as a warlock, and warlocks are lucky to have a great alternative resouce: The Warlock’s Den. Unfortunately not all of the classes or roles in the game have such a wonderful community of intelligent people, so I decided it was time to start one.

Now, don’t get me wrong. I’m not bashing other fan sites or forums out there. There are some good communities that exist and by no means will I try to put them down or downplay their contributions to the fan community. But what I am trying to do here is build a community of the elite among the elite. This place is for those people who are seriously obsessed with healing and want to learn and share as much information as they can.
